Our current open positions:

Power Systems Software Engineer

With this position we are looking for a candidate that knows both power systems and has strong software development skills.  The Power Systems Software Engineer would join our team and contribute to the development of trading strategies.  We use Optimal Power Flow (OPF) models and statistical methods that predict electricity market prices to trade.  Hence experience with OPF models or electricity market simulation tools (DAYZER, Powerworld, etc) is strongly desired.  It can be augmented with a deep academic understanding of power flow and power economics.

As we all know, the biggest part of algorithm development is the collection, classification and management of data and configuration in a repeatable way.  Hence, in addition to knowledge of power systems, the ideal candidate must be proficient in Python with a deep knowledge of IT systems and Linux.  Experience with various python-based data science tools (eg: pandas) is required.
